The Shawano-Menominee Counties Democratic Party is hosting a Prairie Walk this coming Monday, August 24, that begins with snacks at 5 PM, followed by tours of Lucinda's native prairies around 6 PM. Educational information and literature will be available, and some members/friends of Wolf River Wild Ones will be assisting with education and tours. Two ADA scooters will be fully charged and ready for use. The first 20 arrivals to the prairies will receive an engraved stainless steel, special edition, "I Vote For The Planet" water bottle!

Wear your walking shoes, and bring a water bottle just in case you're not one of the first 20 to arrive. Meet in the parking lot of the party office at 420 E. Green Bay Street in Shawano at 5:45 PM if you'd like to carpool. This event is open to the public, so invite your friends, and bring your family!

The prairies are in their glory, so makes plans to come enjoy their beauty, and learn about their importance to the environment!
